Schoner Brunnen Fountain
This is a very lovely fountain and was built just over 600 years ago. This stone structure is shaped rather like a pyramid and towers almost 20 metres, so you can't miss it. The Schoner Brunnen Fountain is decorated with 40 different stone figures and is on the Hauptmarkt Square, in the Old Town area of Nuremberg.

Nuremburg and the Lucky Ring
I like this - it is a really fun thing to look out for. Go to the Schoner Brunnen fountain. In the middle is this golden ring. It doesn't serve any purpose whatsoever, but locals have decided that if you turn it, it will bring you luck. I had my turn, now it's your turn...

St. Lorenzkirche (Church of St. Lorenz)
The St. Lorenzkirche dates from 1260. It stands on the site of a much older basilica and is one of Nuremberg's most notable medieval churches. After bombing damage in WWII, it was completely rebuilt, although still looks like it is 700 years old. There s a really large round rose window above the entrance, and two tall towers.

Nazi Kongresshalle
The Congress Hall is a colossal and designed to be able to hold around 50,000 people. It was styled on the Roman coliseum and built by the Nazi party for rallies and things, but WWII got in the way and it was never finished. Nowadays it serves a number of different purposes and is home to a warehouse and a holocaust museum. It is simply enormous and if you are in Nuremberg, you should take a look around.
